Job Description
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the cleaning operations within our facility, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your role involves supervising cleaning staff, managing schedules, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning staff, including scheduling shifts and managing performance.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
Training and Development: Provide ongoing training to staff on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all cleaning operations adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Issue Resolution: Address any issues or complaints related to cleaning services promptly and effectively.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff performance, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communication and Coordination: Liaise with other departments to ensure cleaning schedules do not interfere with daily operations and events.
Budget Management: Assist in managing the cleaning budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources without compromising on quality.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a cleaning supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment, as well as health and safety regulations.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and performing cleaning tasks as needed.
Team Player: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments.
Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges effectively.
