Job Description

We are looking for General Assistants to join our catering team. This is a great opportunity for individuals to join one of the world’s leading catering company.

Since the job is associated with a UK airport, you will be required to provide your previous 5 years checkable history; which may include Employment/Unemployment/Gaps/ Self-employment – We will secure references on your behalf after you provide us with the information.

You will also be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Packing food items in containers in preparation for the flight packing process
  • Preparing cutlery/napkins/ and food items
  • Cleaning of equipments, cutlery as well as machinery
  • Maintaining a tidy and secure work area
  • Working in a way that encourages appropriate safety and health procedures
  • Kitchen equipment loading and unloading
  • Assisting the chefs in the kitchen by organizing, distributing, and sorting ingredients
  • Preparing foods by washing, peeling, chopping and cutting.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements for the Role:

  • Ability to work in a mixture of morning and evening shifts
  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • FULL TIME Right to Work in the United Kingdom
  • Basic understanding of the English Language
  • Should not have restrictions with Alcoholic Products
  • Ability to work in cold and hot environments
  • The ability to follow instructions
