We are seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will support the Chef and kitchen staff in food preparation and basic
Responsibilities
– Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items
– Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
– Follow recipes and presentation standards
– Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
– Maintain stock inventory and communicate shortages
Minimum Qualifications
– Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar entry-level role in a kitchen
– Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and practices
– Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Culinary school diploma is a plus
