The Forklift Operative is responsible for operating forklift equipment to move, lift, and stack materials within a warehouse or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Forklift Operation:
  • Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials onto and from pallets.
  • Move materials within the warehouse or storage facility.
  • Stack and store materials in designated areas.
• Inventory Management:
  • Assist with inventory control and stock management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely movement of materials.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Inspect forklift equipment for any damage or defects.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• General Warehouse Duties:
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe work environment.
