To provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the school or trust, ensuring the highest standards of education, safeguarding, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Formulate the overall aims and objectives of the school and policies for their implementation.
- Lead, motivate, and manage all teaching and support staff.
- Oversee the school’s financial performance and resource allocation.
- Drive continuous school improvement and prepare for Ofsted inspections.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or oversee the safeguarding team.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven senior leadership experience in the education sector, NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) is often preferred, extensive knowledge of educational frameworks and statutory compliance.
