Jobs Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced senior care worker to join our team. As a senior care worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to elderly individuals in a care home setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and contribute to their overall well-being. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming 
  •  Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents  Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals  Create and implement care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs  Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel 
  •  Supervise and support other care staff, providing guidance and leadership  Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations  Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignity 
  •  Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  •  Ability to work effectively in a team environment 
  •  Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
  •  Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation purposes 
  •  Knowledge of care home regulations and best practices 
  •  Demonstrated leadership abilities with the drive to motivate others 
  •  Assisting in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with hygiene standards and company policies 
  •  Serving food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner 
  •  Ensuring all food safety regulations are adhered to during food handling and storage
