We are seeking a compassionate and experienced senior care worker to join our team. As a senior care worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to elderly individuals in a care home setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and contribute to their overall well-being.Â
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and groomingÂ
-  Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals Create and implement care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnelÂ
-  Supervise and support other care staff, providing guidance and leadership Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignityÂ
- Â Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive careÂ
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenÂ
- Â Ability to work effectively in a team environmentÂ
- Â Strong organizational skills with attention to detailÂ
- Â Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation purposesÂ
- Â Knowledge of care home regulations and best practicesÂ
- Â Demonstrated leadership abilities with the drive to motivate othersÂ
- Â Assisting in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with hygiene standards and company policiesÂ
- Â Serving food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional mannerÂ
- Â Ensuring all food safety regulations are adhered to during food handling and storage
